APRIL DECATSYE

Ms. DeCatsye was born and raised in North Carolina. In 2002, she graduated with honors from the university of North Carolina at Chapel Hill wit ha B.A. in Art History. Ms. DeCatsye decided she wanted to pursue a career in education and obtained a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in May 2005. She then went on to teach third grade for two years in Raleigh, N.C. Most recently, Ms. DeCatsye worked as the Assistant Director of an early childhood center in Plymouth, Minnesota. She is excited to be part of the Birchwood family and is enjoying working with the third graders.
